Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned AGA for the State and perused the record. 2. The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for the following relief: "i) Issue a writ, or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent authorities to conclude the free, fair and impartial investigation under the supervision of Superintendent of police, District Rampur. (ii) Issue a writ,or direction in the nature of mandamus transfer the investigation to any other investigating officer in pursuance of the F.I.R. dated 29.03.2026 registered as case crime no. 0126 of 2026 under section 85, 80(2) of B.N.S. and 3/4 of D.P. Act, P.S. Civil Line, District Rampur. iii) Issue any other suitable writ, order or direction, as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper under the facts and circumstances of the case. iv) Award the costs of the writ petition in favour of the petitioner." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the first informant in the present case and though the FIR in the instant Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Ram Pravesh Yadav Counsel for Respondent(s) : G.A. Rukam Singh .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. And 2 Others .....Respondent(s) case has been registered on 29.3.2026, yet the police is not investigating the case in fair and impartial manner. 4. In view of the above, the petitioner may move an application before the S.P.,Rampur, highlighting his grievance and seeking fair and impartial investigation and if such an application is moved before respondent no.2/S.P., Rampur shall ensure the fair, impartial and expeditious investigation in the present case. 5.
