Heard learned counsel for the appellant, learned APP for the State and learned Amicus Curiae for the victim. 2. In pursuant to the order dated 01.09.2026, Mr. Rishabh Garg, Superintendent of Police, Khunti is present before this Court. 3. The present appeal has been filed against the order dated 22.05.2024 passed by learned D.A.S.J-1, Khunti in Children Case No. 01 of 2024 in connection with Khunti(M) P.S. Case No.13 of 2022, registered for the offence under Sections 376DA, 323, 504, 506/34 IPC, and 4/6 POCSO Act by which prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected. The case is pending before the Court of learned D.A.S.J-1-cum-Special Judge POCSO Act, Khunti. 4. The juvenile in conflict with law, who is in custody since 07.06.2022, has approached this Court for his release. It appears that the juvenile is accused of committing rape. 5. On the other hand, learned counsel for the State and learned counsel for the victim/ informant have opposed the prayer of the appellant. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the State that all the witnesses have already been examined. 6. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to grant bail to the appellant at this stage. Accordingly, the prayer for bail to the appellant is, hereby, rejected. 7. Let this order be communicated to the learned Member Secretary, JHALSA, Ranchi, for the purpose of remuneration to be paid to the learned Amicus Curiae as permissible. 2026:JHHC:27551 2 Cr.
