Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the subject matter of the case relate to alleged recovery of 1.9 kg of heroin. Till date only one witness has been examined by the prosecution and the petitioner is in custody for two years two months. None appears for the Narcotics Control Bureau. Having considered the period of detention of the present petitioner, I direct the learned Special Court in seisin of the case to pass necessary directions upon the Superior Officer so that evidence of the seizure list witnesses are concluded within a period of six months from the date of communication of this order. Petitioner will renew his prayer for bail after the aforesaid time period is over. At this stage, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (NDPS) 1243 of 2026 is dismissed. 2 All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
