The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Telaiya PS Case No.152 of 2026, for offence registered under section 272, 274, 275, 292, 3(5) of BNS, 2023 and section 47(a)(f) of Jharkhand Excise Act, pending in court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Koderma.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement and the country made liquor was recovered from forest and 10 liters liquor has been seized from tea stall of one Upendra Kumar. He next submits that the petitioner has nothing to do with the said liquor. He next submits that the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph no.12 of the petition. four co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail in ABA No.4716 of 2026.
4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that the name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement and in view of that anticipatory bail may kindly be rejected.

Considering that name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement and the country made liquor was recovered from the forest area and 10 liters liquor has been seized from another person and four of the co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail as aforesaid, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to petitioner.

Accordingly, petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before learned court within three weeks from today, and in event of his surrender/arrest, petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of like amount each, to satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Koderma, in connection with Telaiya PS Case No.152 of 2026, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
