The present contempt case has been filed alleging willful and deliberate violation of the common order dated 11.09.2025 passed in L.P.A No. 385 of 2018 with 386 of 2018 by a co-ordinate Division of this Court whereby and whereunder a direction has been issued to the concerned respondents (opposite parties herein) to refund the amount deposited by the petitioner herein with the State Government with an interest @ 7% per annum from the date of making of such deposit, till the date of actual refund to the petitioner herein. 2. Opposite Party Nos.2 and 3 are present in the Court. 3. In the show cause dated 09.09.2026 filed on behalf of the OP No.3, it has been stated in paragraph nos. 7, 8 and 9 that the principal amount in question, i.e., Rs.16,00,00,000/- (Rupees Sixteen Crores 2026:JHHC:27305-DB 2 only) has been paid in favour of the petitioner vide Bill No.6981 dated 30.07.2026 and the said amount stands credited in the bank account of the petitioner on 31.07.2026. It has further been stated that so far as the amount of interest @ 7% per annum to be paid to the petitioner as per direction of this Court is concerned, after allotment, the said amount of interest, i.e., a sum of Rs.8,02,98,553/- (Rupees Eight Crores Two Lakhs Ninety Eight Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Three only) has already been paid to the petitioner on 29.08.2026 itself (appended as Annexure-B series) and, as such, the order of this Court has already been complied with. 4. Mr. Ankit Vishal, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has not disputed the disbursement of the said principal amount of Rs.16,00,00,000/- (Rupees Sixteen crores only) as well as the amount of interest, i.e., Rs.8,02,98,553/- (Rupees Eight Crores Two Lakhs Ninety Eight Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Three only) in favour of the petitioner. 5. In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives in the instant contempt case to proceed further. 6. Accordingly, the instant contempt case is closed and disposed of. 7. Personal appearance of the concerned opposite parties, i.e., OP Nos.2 and 3 is hereby dispensed with. 8. Pending I.As, if any, stands disposed of. (Sujit Narayan Prasad, J.)
