Mr. Joydeep Roy, Jr. Govt. Adv. Mr. Duttatreya Dutta ……for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for a considerable period of time and there has been no progress and the petitioner has been implicated on the basis of statement of co-accused. On the other hand learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the Hon’ble Supreme Court has granted time for concluding the trial within a year. So far as the present petitioner is concerned, it has been pointed out by the State that CDR was sent after extracting and/or retrieving the data from the mobile phone and the same has matched according to the report. 2 Having considered the complicity of the present petitioner, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 1231 of 2025 is dismissed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
