HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - C No. - 16444 of 2026 Court No. - 40 HON'BLE SARAL SRIVASTAVA, J. HON'BLE GARIMA PRASHAD, J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri R.K. Pal, learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. Petitioner by means of the present writ petition has prayed for the following relief: "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, commanding and directing the respondent authorities to decide the representation dated 03.04.2026 moved by the petitioner within stipulated period and to take necessary action against the Respondent No.4 to 6. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, commanding and directing the respondent authorities to protect the life of petitioner." 3. This Court on 29.04.2026 sought instructions from the learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State. Sri R.K. Pal, learned Standing Counsel has placed the instructions on record. In the instructions, it has been stated that the police is not harassing the petitioner. Para 17 of the instructions reads as under: "17. यह िक इस ्ऺस्तर के संबंध में कथन है िक आवेदक ्षारा िकया गया कथन असत्य, मनगा़ंत और िनराधार है। पुिलस ्षारा ऐसी कोई कायर्वाही आवेदक व उसके पिरवार के साथ नहीं की गई है।" 4. In view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned Standing Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Sonu Malik Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C. Sonu .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. And 18 Others .....Respondent(s) Counsel for the State, no further order is required to be passed. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
