For the State The petitioner applied for the post of Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) in the district of Uttar Dinajpur pursuant to a notification issued on 30th December, 2021 for selection to the said post. Despite being eligible for the said post and attending the interview, she has neither been selected, nor has the result of the interview been communicated to her. The petitioner submitted a representation in this regard before the concerned authority on 27th January, 2026 and seeks consideration of the same. In view of the above, the Sub-Divisional Officer, Islampur and Member Secretary, Asha Selection Committee being the 3rd respondent herein, is directed to consider and dispose of the representation in this regard submitted by the petitioner dated 27th January, 2026 within four weeks from the date of communication of this order upon granting reasonable opportunity of hearing to all concerned including the petitioner, in accordance with law. 2 The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof. The writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted.
