The present Civil Writ Petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari/mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction declaring the impugned inaction of the respondents in not issuing the completion certificate of the house of the petitioner despite the decision of this Hon'ble Court in CWP No.23913 of 2024, titled Mridul Sharma vs. State of Punjab and others, decided on 08.04.2025 (Annexure P-8). 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the respondent-GMADA has been raising an unreasonable demand of non construction charges of the plot and has not issued the completion certificate of the house of the petitioner. At this stage, Ms. Avin Sandhu, Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent-GMADA submitted on instructions from Mr. Aman Sharma, Estate Officer that the respondent-GMADA has decided to waive off the non-construction charges in the case of the present petitioner. She further submitted that an order will be passed by the concerned authority on the grievance of the petitioner with regard to the issuance of completion certificate in accordance with law, within a period of one month from today. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in view of the statement made by the learned State counsel, the present petition may be disposed of. 5. Ordered accordingly.
