Sharma, learned Additional Advocate General. In view of the nature of the grievance and the order being passed hereinafter, there is no necessity to issue notice to respondent No.4 and to call for reply from the appearing respondents. The matter has accordingly been heard. 2. Petitioner is serving as Assistant Professor (Sociology) at Government Degree College, Anni at Haripur, District Kullu, H.P. Her grievance is to the notification dated 23.09.2026 (Annexure P-2) issued by respondent No.1, transferring her to Government College 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes 2 Kumarsain, District Shimla. Highlighting para-6E of the petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner and her husband are undergoing treatment for infertility at Mandav Hospital, Mandi. Petitioner’s husband is serving as Junior Basic Trained Teacher (JBT) at Government Primary School Bayasar, District Kullu. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, in view of the medical problem of the couple and the treatment being taken by them, it is incumbent upon the couple to be posted in close proximity to each other's place of posting. In view of this, the petitioner seeks her adjustment to Government Degree College Sainj, Kullu, where the post of Assistant Professor is stated to be lying vacant and which is also near the place of posting of her spouse. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has completed her tenure at the current place of posting and seeks her adjustment in view of her medical issue. 3. Considering the problem being faced by the petitioner and in the interest of justice, the petitioner shall be at liberty to represent to respondent No.1 seeking her adjustment at Government Decree College Sainj, Kullu, where the post of Assistant Professor (Sociology) is stated to be lying vacant, or at any other place where she can be adjusted by respondent No.1, within one week, with a direction to respondent No.1 to consider the same sympathetically, keeping in view the problem being faced by the petitioner, in accordance with law and keeping in view the 3 applicable transfer policy, within one week thereafter. The order so passed be also communicated to the petitioner. Till such time, the petitioner shall not be compelled to join at the transferred station and she may avail the leave of kind due.
