By means of this application, the Petitioner seeks the following relief: “The petitioner therefore prays that the Hon'ble Court be pleased admit this writ application and after hearing the petitioners advocate issue a writ in nature of mandamous or any other suitable writ directing to the Collector, Balasore to lease out some area out of total area of Plot no. 1492, under khata no. 550 of mouza-Gilajodi in the dist- Balasore in favour of Radha Krishna temple.” 3. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the grievance of the Petitioner is limited to the non-disposal of the representation dated 15.04.2026 pending before the Collector, Balasore. He submits that the Petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the said authority to consider and dispose of the representation within a stipulated time. 4. Learned Additional Standing Counsel, on instructions, submits that he has no serious objection if such a direction is issued. 5. Reluctantly this Court takes up the matter as there is efficacious remedy available under law. However, keeping in view the limited nature of the grievance, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the Petitioner's claim, while disposing the Writ Application at the stage of admission, it is deemed appropriate to issue a direction to the Collector, Balasore (Opposite Party No.2) to consider and dispose of the Petitioner's representation dated 15.04.2026, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, and communicate the decision to the Petitioner within one week thereafter. It would not be out of place to mention that, if the Collector considers it necessary, he may afford an opportunity of hearing to the Petitioner before passing an order on the representation. 6.
