PRAKASH C Counsel for the Contemnor(S): 1. HARI BABU MAGULURI SC For SERP The Court made the following: p. 2 :: ORDER :: The above contempt case was filed complaining of the violation of the order dated 20.09.2024, passed in W.P.No.20713 of 2024. 2. Heard learned counsel appearing on both sides. 3. The petitioner filed the aforementioned writ petition complaining about the interference of the respondent No.4 in discharging duties as VOA in Velugu Grama Samikhya-I, Gudipalli Village and Mandal, Chittoor District. 4. The writ petition was disposed of on 20.09.2024. The operative portion of said order reads as follows: “Given the facts and circumstances of the case coupled with the aforementioned circular issued by the Principal Secretary, SERP, and the instructions furnished by the Project Director, DRDA-Velugu, Chittoor District, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage, with the consent of the learned counsel on either side, directing the respondent Nos.4 & 5 not to interfere with the petitioner’s discharging duties as VOA in Velugu Grama Samikhya-I, Gudipalli Village & Mandal, Chittoor District. No order as to costs” 5. The contempt case was filed on 23.12.2024. In the affidavit filed in support of the contempt case, it was pleaded that the respondents have violated the order dated 20.09.2024 passed in W.P.No.20713 of 2024. 6. A counter-affidavit was filed on behalf of respondent No.1. Along with the counter-affidavit, the resolution dated 05.09.2024 passed by the members of the Society was annexed. A perusal of the resolution would indicate that one Smt. Chandrakala was elected as the new VOA in the place of the petitioner. 7. The petitioner filed no rejoinder. Page 3 of 4 8. Thus, as seen from the resolution annexed with the counter-affidavit, the petitioner was replaced with the new incumbent as VOA. Thus, the contention of the petitioner that the respondents are interfering with her discharge of duties is misplaced. Hence, this Court does not find any violation of the order dated 20.09.2024 passed in W.P.No.20713 of 2024, and the contempt case is liable to be dismissed. 9. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, the Contempt Case is dismissed. No order as to costs. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ___________________________ JUSTICE SUBBA REDDY SATTI Date: 19.02.2026 TVN p. 4 284 THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE SUBBA REDDY SATTI CONTEMPT CASE No.4785 OF 2024 Date: 19.02.2026 TVN
