The petitioner is coming with a very misconceived understanding of article 226 of the Constitution of India by purported grievance that till his appeal under the Right to Information Act pending adjudication before highest appellate authority is decided, this Court should come in and direct the preservation of CCTV Footage of Front Lawn of the Police Station Kupwara, for the period from 17:00 hours to 20:00 hours of 17.07.2025. 2. Article 226 of the Constitution of India is not meant for this type of indulgence at the instance of a person who does not disclose in his writ petition the purpose for Sr. No. 146 Supp. Cause List-I which he is seeking to have the preservation of the said CCTV footage, as such writ petition is dismissed.
