This is an application filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, (BNSS) 2023 praying for grant of pre-arrest bail to the Page No.# 2/2 accused applicant in connection with Abhayapuri P.S. Case No.265/2025, registered under Sections 331(4)/305(a) of BNS, 2023. The case relates to the lodging of an FIR dated 29.11.2024 alleging that some miscreants entered the house of the informant and, after spraying a certain substance on the faces of three family members, broke open the almirah and left after stealing gold ornaments along with cash amounting to Rs. 24,000/-. The case diary is received. The prosecution submits that there are sufficient implicating materials against the present petitioner and investigation is giving support to the alleged offences and the properties which was subject of the alleged robbery have also not been recovered. The investigation is going on. In this circumstances, perhaps it may not be appropriate to grant bail at this stage. Accordingly, the anticipatory bail petition stands rejected at this stage.
