Heard learned counsel for petitioner, learned standing counsel for respondent nos. 1, 2, 3 & 4 and Sri Dharmaveer Singh, learned counsel for respondent no. 5. 2. In pith and substance, the petitioners are seeking a direction to the respondent no. 2 i.e. District Magistrate, Mau/Controlling Authority, Regulated Area, Nagar Palika Parishad, Maunath Bhanjan, Mau to examine and decide their representation dated 29.09.2022 in the light of the Government Order dated 14.06.2024 issued by the Special Secretary, U.P. Government, Lucknow. 3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on merits of the case, we dispose off this writ petition asking the respondent No.2 i.e. District Magistrate, Mau/Controlling Authority, Regulated Area, Nagar Palika Parishad, Maunath Bhanjan, Mau to process the representation/application of the petitioners strictly in accordance with law and consider his claim in the light of the Government Order dated 14.06.2024 issued by the Special Secretary, U.P. Government, Lucknow. The said exercise is to be carried out within three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. 4. Needless to say, this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merit of the case.
