JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA ORAL ORDER The petitioner is before this Court calling in question the proceedings in C.C.No.5909/2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 323, 337, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ('the IPC' for short). 2. Heard Sri. Ravindra P., learned counsel appearing for the petitioners; Smt. Sowmya R., learned High Court Government Pleader appearing for respondent No.1 and Sri. B.R. Deepak, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2. 3. An interim order was granted on 17.02.2026 and date was fixed for the reason that the Court was not aware at that point in time whether the charges were framed and the trial was on. 4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the charges framed two years prior to the filing of the petition itself and the trial is on. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:18813 CRL.P No. 9682 of 2025 5. In that light, there will be no warrant for interference at the hands of this Court at this juncture. 6. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners seeks to project several factors on the merit of the matter. 7. The petitioner is reserved liberty to urge all those contentions before the concerned Court at the appropriate time. Since the issue is of the year 2022 and the offence is the one punishable under Sections 337 and 504, 506 of the IPC, the concerned Court shall endeavour to conclude the proceedings, within an outer limit of six months from the date of receipt of the copy of the order, if not earlier.
