This is an application filed under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, (BNSS) 2023 praying for grant of bail to the accused applicant in connection with Mankachar P.S. Case No.03/2026, registered under Sections 127(2)/65(1) of BNS read with Section 8 of the POCSO Act. The case relates to the filing of an FIR alleging attempted sexual assault on the daughter of the informant. The learned Addl. P.P. submits that the charge-sheet in the instant case has already been submitted vide Charge-sheet No.23/2026 dated 25.02.2026. In view of the above, the learned counsel for the accused applicant submits that he would like to approach the learned Trial Court for appropriate relief.
