Sushil Kukreja, Judge (oral) The perusal of impugned award dated 31.03.2015 shows that learned Reference Court has held the petitioners entitled for the compensation as per their shares recorded in the revenue record at the rate of Rs. 9,631.03/- per square meter irrespective of kind and quality of the 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 ( 2026:HHC:7707 ) acquired land alongwith following statutory benefits and interests:- “(i) Interest at the rate of 12% per annum on the market value from the date of Notification under Section 4 of the Act till the date of award under Section 23(1A) of the Act; (ii) In addition to the market value, the petitioners are held entitled to get solatium or compulsory acquisition charges at the rate of 30% on such market value as provided under Section 23(2) of the Act; and (iii) Interest at the rate of 9% per annum from the date of Notification under Section 4 of the Act up-to- one year and, thereafter, at the rate of 15% per annum on the amount of compensation and solatium, till payment is made in the court as provided under Section 34 of the Act.” 2. The impugned award has been passed by learned Reference Court on the basis of award dated 17.11.2014, Ext. PW-1/B. 3. The parties are ad idem to the fact that award dated 17.11.2014, Ext. PW-1/B was challenged by the State by way of filing different appeals, lead case being RFA No. 255 of 2015, titled State of H.P. & Ors. Vs. Sh. Ravinder Sharma alias Ravinder Kumar (deceased) through LRs alongwith connected matters; and said appeals have been 3 ( 2026:HHC:7707 ) dismissed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court vide Judgment dated 30.08.2018, upholding the award dated 17.11.2014, Ext. PW-1/B. 4. Since the award dated 17.11.2014, Ext. PW-1/B has been upheld by the Coordinate Bench of this Court vide Judgment dated 30.08.2018, the impugned award dated 31.03.2015, passed by the learned Reference Court on the basis of award dated 17.11.2014, Ext.
