The Court made the following ORAL ORDER (LUNCH MOTION):
Heard Sri Venkat Challa, learned Counsel for the Writ Petitioner and Sri Gudapati Lakshmi Narayana, learned Counsel representing Sri P. Vengal Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Municipal Corporations for Rayalaseema Region.
2. Learned Counsel for the Writ Petitioner submits that after filing of the Writ Petition, the Official Respondents have issued a Show Cause Notice. In this view of the matter, the Writ Petitioner intends to withdraw this Writ Petition with liberty to pursue the Show Cause Notice, including submission of explanation. Let Explanation to the Show Cause Notice be submitted within a period of two weeks from today instead of three days as mentioned in the Show Cause Notice. Upon submission of the Explanation, needless to state that the Official Respondents shall consider the same in accordance with law within a reasonable time and communicate the outcome to the Writ Petitioner forthwith.
3. With these observations and directions, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the Writ Petitioner to avail all avenues as available to him under law. No order as to costs.
4. Interlocutory Applications, if any, stand closed in terms of this order.
