The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking a direction to the respondent authorities for release of their gratuity amount. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the State, by producing the information sheet issued by the Office of the Public Works Department (B/S) Division, Ambikapur, submits that the gratuity amount payable to petitioner Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 5 has already been released. So far as petitioner No. 6 is concerned, it is submitted that the Executive Engineer has already passed an order dated 08.07.2026 sanctioning the gratuity amount of Rs. 2,62,036/-, which shall be disbursed to the petitioner within a period of 25 days from today. 3. Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the State and the statement placed on record, the grievance of petitioner Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 5 stands redressed. As regards petitioner No. 6, the respondent authorities are directed to 4 ensure release and disbursement of the sanctioned gratuity amount of Rs. 2,62,036/- within a period of 25 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.
