02/ 10.09.2026: Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Jaldega P.S. (Bansjor O.P.) Case No. 66 of 2025, registered under sections 191(2), 191(3), 190, 329(4), 118(1), 117(2), 118(2), 109, 303(2), 324(4) of BNS, 2023, pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M, Simdega.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in F.I.R and his name has come in the confessional statement. He next submits that allegations are made against 14 named persons and 20-25 unknown persons of reaching to the Dhaba and making hooliganism. He next submits that two of the named co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail in No. 2757 of 2026. He next submits that for the same incident two F.I.Rs have been lodged and apart from that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. On these grounds, he submits that the petitioner may kindly be provided privilege of anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer and submits that the name of the petitioner has come in the confessional statement.

been granted anticipatory bail in the aforesaid A.B.A and it has been pointed out that for the same incident two F.I.Rs have been lodged.

In the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the above named, petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court within three weeks from today and in the event of his surrender / arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 25,000/- (twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M, Simdega, in connection with Jaldega P.S. (Bansjor O.P.) Case No. 66 of 2025, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 482 (2) of B.N.S.S, 2023.
