ORAL ORDER
The petitioners are before this Court seeking the following prayers:
"a) to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.37120/2021 (P.C.R. No.13604/2018), registered for the offences punishable under Section 63 of the Copy Right Act, Section 65 and 66 of the Information Technology Act and Section 120B of the Indian Penal Code, pending on the file of the learned IX ADDL.C.M.M., at Bengaluru city, insofar as the petitioners are concerned, at Annexure-D. b) to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.37120/2021 (P.C.R.No.13602/2018), registered for the offences punishable under Section 63 of the Copy Right Act, Section 65 and 66 of the Information Technology Act and

Section 120B of the Indian Penal Code, pending on the file of the learned IX ADDL.C.M.M., at Bengaluru city at Annexure-D, insofar as the petitioners are concerned,
c) and pass any such other orders that this Hon'ble Court deems fit, in favour of the Petitioners, in the interest of Justice."
2. Heard Sri.Satyanarayana S Chalke, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, Smt. Parina Lalla, learned counsel appearing for the respondents and have perused the material on record. 3. During the pendency of the proceedings, the parties to the lis have settled the dispute among themselves and have filed a Joint Compromise Memo in that regard. The Joint Compromise Memo reads as follows:
“1. That, in view of the settlement arrived at between them, the Respondent herein has no objection to the grant of the relief(s) of quashing as sought before this Hon'ble Court, in the interest of justice and equity. 2. The undersigned parties further declare that save and except the above-mentioned proceedings and the complaint in respect of which the above petition is filed, neither the Petitioner nor the Respondent has initiated, instituted, or is prosecuting any other legal proceedings, whether civil or criminal, against one another before any court, tribunal, authority or forum whatsoever. 3. The parties further categorically declare and confirm that there are no inter se claims, demands, disputes or causes of

action of any nature whatsoever, whether past, present or future, subsisting between them, and that all claims, if any, stand fully settled and extinguished pursuant to the present settlement. 4.
The parties state that the present settlement is arrived at voluntarily, without any coercion or undue influence, and is intended to bring quietus to all disputes between them once and for all.”
4. The parties to the lis are present before the Court and are identified by their respective counsels. 5. In the light of Joint Compromise Memo as quoted supra being filed and offences not being against the State, I deem it appropriate to accept the Joint Compromise Memo and terminate the proceedings against the petitioners in the subject petition. 6. For the aforesaid reasons, the following:
ORDER [I] Writ Petition is disposed. [II] Proceedings in C.C.No.37120/2021 (P.C.R.No.13602/2018 and P.C.R. No.13604/2018), registered for the offences punishable under Section
