1. Through the medium of an application CM No. 5019/2026, the petitioners seek withdrawal of this writ petition.
2. For the reasons assigned in the application and
submissions urged at the bar, the application is allowed and the writ petition OWP No.984/2016 is dismissed as withdrawn along with connected CMs.
3. In the light of withdrawal of main writ petition, contempt petition CCP(S) No.475/2022 is also rendered Sr. No. 151 Supp. Cause List-III
infructuous and dismissed without prejudice to the rights of contempt petitioner-Chuni Lal Raina to seek revival in case it would be reckoned that the contempt petition was not to suffer disposal by withdrawal of the writ petition by the petitioners.
4. Application is, accordingly, disposed of.
