Heard the learned counsel appearing for the respective parties.
The petitioner is an accused in connection with NDPS Case No. 127 of 2025 arising out of Rail Ranchi P.S. Case No. 19 of 2025 (N).
It has been alleged that some miscreants were apprehended by the police and 26 kg. Ganja was recovered from their possession.
Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that so far as the petitioner is concerned 8 kg. of Ganja was recovered which is an intermediary quantity. It has been submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 15.06.2025 and in similar circumstances one of the co-accused Arvind Yadav has been granted bail in BA No. 416 of 2026. Learned counsel adds that the petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent.
Learned Spl.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, NDPS, Ranchi in connection with NDPS Case No. 127 of 2025 arising out of Rail Ranchi P.S. Case No. 19 of 2025 (N).
