1. The present contempt case has been filed for initiating contempt proceeding against the opposite parties for their wilful and deliberate violation of the order dated 17th October, 2023 passed in W.P.(S) No.1896 of 2022.
2. Mrs. Nirupama, learned AC to Sr. SC-II refers to the show cause affidavits filed on behalf of the respective opposite parties and submits that the cases of the petitioners have been reconsidered

in terms with the order dated 17th October, 2023 passed by this Court and since it was found that they had scored lesser marks than those obtained by last selected candidates in the respective categories, the petitioners’ claims for being appointed as Assistant Teachers in respective categories, have been rejected. It is, thus, submitted that the aforesaid order of this Court has been complied.
3. Considering the said fact, there is no need to further proceed in the matter. The contempt proceeding as against the opposite parties is hereby dropped.
4. The present contempt case stands disposed of.
5. The petitioners are, however, at liberty to take appropriate recourse against the order(s) of reconsideration passed against them, as permissible under law.
