Petitioner has filed this writ petition, seeking following reliefs:- “1. That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to declare the action of the respondents in not considering the petitioner for grant of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Senior Super Pay Scale) as illegal and unconstitutional. 2. That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to grant notional promotion/kramonnati to the petitioner on the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Senior Super Pay Scale) w.e.f. 20.04.2022; 3. That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct refixation of pension, gratuity and all retiral benefits with consequential arrears; 4. That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of promotion/kramonati and decide the representation dated 12.09.2025 and 30.09.2025, in the interest of justice. 5. Any other relief, which this Hon’ble court deems fit and proper, may also kindly be granted to the petitioner, in the interest of justice.” 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner while holding the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police got retired after attaining the age of superannuation on 30.06.2023 vide order dated 27.02.2023. He submits that according to order passed by State Government petitioner is entitled for senior super pay scale. After issuance of the order for making payment of senior super pay scale to the Police officials who have completed the requisite period of service in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 have submitted an application/representation before respondent no. 1 and 3, on 12.09.2025 and 30.09.2025, however, no decision has been taken on representation, therefore, direction be issued to concerned authority to take decision on representation submitted by petitioner at the earliest within a specified time frame. 3 / 3 3. Learned counsel for State submits that in view of limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner, she is having no objection. 4. On due consideration of submission made by learned counsel for the respective parties in particular the submission made by learned counsel for petitioner that petitioner has already submitted a representation raising grievances as raised in this writ petition which is still pending consideration, I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition at this stage directing respondent no. 1 and 3 to take decision on the claim of petitioner as submitted before them in the representation, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 08 weeks from the date of receipt of the Order. 5.
