Amaresh Panda & Ors. Vs. Debrishi Banerjee
Mr. Ziaul Haque …… for the applicants.
Mr. Suryaneel Das, Ld. AGP Mr. A. Biswas ……for the State.
Mr. Debrishi Banerjee, the Block Development Officer, Garbeta-II, is present in Court in response to the Rule. He has filed a compliance report. It appears from the report that the allegation of the writ petitioner could not be proved. The construction of the morum road was on a vested land. A copy of the decision has been supplied to the advocate-on-record for the applicants. The court records substantial compliance of the
order, leaving it open to the applicants to take appropriate steps if they are aggrieved by the final decision of the authority. Accordingly the contempt application is
disposed of and the contempt proceedings are dropped. The Rule is discharged.
