[ Mr. Indranuj Dutta Ms. Benazir Sk. …for the petitioner This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the husband praying for a direction upon the learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track 1st Court, Howrah, to dispose of the Misc Case No. 11 of 2020 as well as the Matrimonial Suit no. 241 of 2019 expeditiously. The learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the wife being the opposite party herein has filed an application under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act. He submits that the Misc. Case No. 11 of 2020 is otherwise ready for hearing. 7th July, 2026 is the next date fixed for hearing of the Misc. Case No. 11 of 2020. In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to serve notice upon the opposite party. However, the learned Advocate-on-Record for the petitioner shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with a server copy of this order to the opposite party forthwith. In the light of the submission made by the learned Advocate for the petitioner, this civil revisional application stands disposed of by requesting the learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track, 1st Court, Howrah to take up hearing of the Misc. case on the next date fixed i.e. on 7th July, 2026 and make an endeavour to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible but preferably within a period of four months from the next date fixed without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties. After disposal of the Misc. Case, the learned Trial Judge shall make all endeavour to dispose of the matrimonial suit as expeditiously as possible provided the husband/petitioner is not in default in payment of alimony pendente lite.
