Goswami, the learned counsel for the applicant/appellant. This is an application under Order XLI Rule V CPC praying for stay of the operation of the impugned Judgment & Award dated 11.09.2025 passed by the learned Member, MACT, Sonitpur in MAC Case No. 96/2024(D). It is submitted by Mr. Goswami that the connected appeal has been filed challenging the quantum of the award. However, they are ready to deposit 50% of the awarded compensation subject to the stay of the execution of the impugned judgment and award as stated above. Considering the submission made by learned counsel for the applicant/appellant, the operation of impugned judgment & award 11.09.2025 passed by the learned Member, MACT, Sonitpur in MAC Case No. 96/2024(D) is hereby stayed till disposal of the connected appeal subject to payment of 50% of the awarded amount within 6 (six) weeks.
