By way of the instant application, prayer has been made on behalf of the applicants/respondents for release of the award amount lying deposited in the Registry of this Court. No reply is intended to be filed to the instant application on behalf of the non-applicant/petitioner, as has been fairly stated by Ms. Meenakshi Sharma, learned counsel representing the non-applicant/petitioner. Since it is not in dispute that judgment dated 07.08.2026 passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in CWP No. 3651 of 2023, titled M/s JP Power Grid Ltd. vs. Suresh and Ors., along with connected matter, has attained finality, there appears to be no impediment in ordering release of the balance amount lying deposited in the Registry of this Court. In view of the above, present application is allowed. Balance amount lying deposited with the Registry of this Court is ordered to be released in favour of the applicants/respondents, namely, Suresh, Pradeep, Jagdish and Smt. Dasi @ Pachhu Devi, by remitting the same in their respective bank accounts in equal shares, along with up-to-date interest, subject to verification by the Accounts Branch.
