02/ 09.09.2026: Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Jagarnathpur P.S. Case No. 180 of 2026, registered under sections 191(2), 191(3), 115(2), 117(2) and 109 of BNS, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate at Ranchi.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. He next submits that the petitioner was not present at the place of occurrence however, the petitioner is named in the F.I.R along with others and in identical situation co-accused namely, Priyanshu Kumar @ Priyanshu Pandey has been granted anticipatory bail by the learned Judicial Commissioner, Ranchi in A.B.P. No. 1849 of 2026 and another co-accused has been granted anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 5066 of
2026. He next submits that there are general and omnibus allegations against all the accused persons and petitioner undertakes to cooperate in the investigation. On these grounds, he submits that the petitioner may kindly be provided privilege of anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer and submits that allegations of assault are there against all the accused persons and

pursuant to that injury has been received by the informant.

On perusal of F.I.R, it transpires that there are general and omnibus allegations against all the accused persons. In identical situation co- accused namely, Priyanshu Kumar @ Priyanshu Pandey has been granted anticipatory bail by the learned Judicial Commissioner, Ranchi in A.B.P. No. 1849 of 2026 and another co-accused has been granted anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 5066 of 2026.

In the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the above named, petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court within three weeks from today and in the event of his surrender / arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 25,000/- (twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate at Ranchi, in connection with Jagarnathpur P.S. Case No. 180 of 2026, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 482 (2) of B.N.S.S, 2023.
