2 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE HARINATH.N WRIT PETITION NO: 19514 of 2013 ORDER:
1. The learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that cause in the writ petition would not survive any further as the petitioner is challenging appointment of the 3rd respondent as Anganwadi worker. 2. The primary contention of the petitioner is that the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 have ignored the candidature of the petitioner and preferred the 3rd respondent. The petitioner claims that the respondent No.3 is not permanent resident of Gurrabadu Village and that the same was ignored by the respondent Nos.1 and 2 and the 3rd respondent was issued orders of appointment. 3.
The learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that the Selection Committee constituted for the selection of candidates to the post of Anganwadi worker duly considered all aspects. It is submitted that the 3rd respondent had produced her Election Identity Card in support of her nativity of Gurrabadu Village and was awarded highest marks in the merit list. Accordingly, she was appointed and is presently working. 4. Recording the same, the writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. ____________________ JUSTICE HARINATH.N Dated 02.02.2026 KGM
