Pursuant to a notice inviting tender floated by the Block Development Officer, Krishnagar-I Development Block on February 24, 2020 and work order issued on March 06, 2020 for construction of cement concrete road from the house of Ashok Dutta to the house of Manoj Nandi Gouranga Colony under Ruipukur Gram Panchayat the petitioner undertook the construction work and completed the same successfully within due time. Completion certificate was issued in his favour by the Block Development Officer on December 04, 2020. The petitioner raised bill of Rs. 3,32,774/- for the work which is yet to be paid. Several representations submitted by the petitioner before the concerned authority in this regard have fallen on deaf ears. The petitioner seeks disbursal of the due amount. In view of the fact that completion certificate was issued in favour of the petitioner upon satisfactory completion of the work, the Block Development Officer, Krishnagar-I Development Block, being the 10th respondent herein, is directed to disburse the entire due amount of Rs. 3,32,774/- in favour of the petitioner within eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. The writ petition is disposed of. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
