This Court, vide order dated 13.02.2026, passed in MCRC Nos. 962/2026, while rejecting the bail to the petitioner, namely, Bharat Chaturvedi, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned 5th Additional Sessions Judge, District – Raipur (C.G.), through the Principal District and Sessions Judge, District – Raipur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 18.06.2026 has requested for grant of two month’s time for concluding the trial. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that the trial of the present case is at the stage of prosecution evidence, and only two prosecution witnesses including the seizure witness are yet to be examined, for which summons have also been issued. Hence, it is likely to take some time for concluding the trial. Therefore, he prays for grant of two month’s time for concluding the trial. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of two months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. 7.
