The Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: (i) ISSUE a writ of certiorari or any other writ quashing the order dated 26-06-2025 passed by the First Respondent in case No.SC.S:CR:26/2024-25, a copy of which is produced at ANNEXURE-A. (ii) GRANT such other order or direction as deems fit to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case. 2. A Joint Memo has been filed signed by the Petitioner and respondent No.2-father which reads as under: “JOINT MEMO It is submitted that the Petitioner and Respondent No.2 submits as follows: - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:32088 WP No. 28688 of 2025 ence, this Memo. The Petitioner has preferred the petition for the relief of challenging the order passed by the Respondent No.1 dated 26-06-2025 in CaseNo. SC/S/SCR/26/2024-25, in this regard the Petitioner and Respondent No.2 amicably settle the matter before this Hon'ble Court, after terms and conditions by both parties. The Petitioner is ready to accept the terms and conditions imposed by the Respondent No.2. The Respondent No.2 is ready to receive an amount of Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Fifty Thousand only) towards compensation, Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only in cash and Rs. 2,25,000/- (Rupees Two lakhs Twenty Five Thousand onjly) through Demand Draft bearing No.983457, dated 08-05-2026 drawn on State Bank of India, K.R.Sagara Branch, Srirangapatna Taluk, Mandya District. The Respondent No.2 is ready to accepted the under Senior Citizen Welfare and Maintenance Act 2007, and also the Respondent No.2 will not claims against the Petitioner and also the Respondent no.2 not interfere with the any interference, false claim, allegation to any concerned Authorities hence, this Joint memo may be taken on record in the interest of justice and equity. Wherefore, it is pray that this Hon'ble court may be pleased to kind permit to amicable settle the matter by mutual consent with the parties. Hence, the case may be disposed accordingly in the interest of justice.” 3. On enquiry respondent No.2-father submits that he has agreed to settle the matter by receiving a sum of Rs.2,50,000. R. Sagara Branch, Srirangapatna Taluk, Mandya District, has been handed over to respondent No.2, which he acknowledges the receipt of the same. 4. Placing the said Joint Memo on record, since the Petitioner has complied with the order passed by respondent No.1, no other orders are required to be passed, the writ petition stands disposed.
