Accused No.4 in Crime No.81/2026 registered by Kumaraswamy Layout Police Station, Bengaluru, for the offences punishable under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 352, 140(2), 351(2), 126(2), 61(2) read with Section 3(5) of BNS, 2023, is before this Court in this petition filed under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023, seeking regular bail. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. 3. FIR in Crime No.81/2026 was registered by Kumaraswamy Layout Police Station, Bengaluru, for the aforesaid offences against one Nadeem and others based on the first information dated 04.04.2026, received from Younus Khan, who is the injured victim in the present case. Petitioner, who is arraigned as accused No.4 in the FIR was arrested on 04.04.2026 and remanded to judicial custody. His bail application filed before the jurisdictional Sessions Court in Crl.Misc.No.3777/2026 was rejected on 27.04.2026. In the first information, which is submitted on 04.04.2026, it is stated that on the intervening night of 02.04.2026 and 03.04.2026 at about 09.30 p.m., when the first informant had gone to meet his brother, two persons, who came in a two wheeler tried to catch hold of him. First informant allegedly managed to escape and at about 10.15 p.m., when the first informant was walking towards Sarakki Bus Stand, the accused persons, who came there, forcibly took him in a car and confined him in a shed and thereafter, assaulted him causing grievous injuries. In respect of the alleged incident that had taken place on the intervening night of 02.04.2026 and 03.04.2026, belatedly, first information was submitted on 04.04.2026 at about 19:00 hours. It is not in dispute that alleged victim has suffered only simple injuries in the incident in question. Petitioner, who has no other criminal antecedents is in custody for the last more than two months. Major portion of the investigation is already completed. Under the circumstances, the following order:- 5. The petition is allowed. The petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in Crime No.81/2026 registered by - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:33397 CRL.P No. 7519 of 2026 Kumaraswamy Layout Police Station, Bengaluru, for the offences punishable under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 352, 140(2), 351(2), 126(2), 61(2) read with Section 3(5) of BNS, 2023, subject to the following conditions: a) Petitioner shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with two sureties for the likesum, to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional Court; b) The petitioner shall appear regularly on all the dates of hearing before the Trial Court unless the Trial Court exempts his appearance for valid reasons; c) The petitioner shall not directly or indirectly threaten or tamper with the prosecution witnesses; d) The petitioner shall not involve in similar offences in future; Sd/- (S VISHWAJITH SHETTY) JUDGE DN List No.: 1 Sl No.: 64
