Murry, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. K. Baishya, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 528 read with Section 438 and 442 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, in respect of PRC Case No.1334/2018, pending in the Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Kamrup (Metro) at Guwahati. 3. During the COVID-19 period, the petitioner, Prodip Mazumder @ Pradip Mazumdar, Page No.# 2/2 was unable to appear before the High Court. Consequently, the Trial Court directed issuance of a Non-Bailable Warrant of Arrest (NBWA) against him. 4. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for both sides. 5. The prayer of the petitioner is allowed. 6. All orders directing issue of Non-Bailable Warrant of Arrest (NBWA) against the present petitioner are set aside. 7. The petitioner, Prodip Mazumder @ Pradip Mazumdar is directed to appear before the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Kamrup (Metro) at Guwahati in connection with PRC Case No.1334/2018 on 07.04.2026 and on his appearance, the petitioner shall be released on fresh bail of Rs.20,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Kamrup (Metro) at Guwahati. 8.
