1. At the outset, Shri Manoj Kumar Jaiswal, learned counsel for the applicant submits that in the cause list, the name of Shri Manoj Kumar Sinha, has wrongly been published as counsel for the applicant, whereas the bail application has been filed by him.
2. The applicant has preferred this application under Section 482 of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of Anticipatory Bail, apprehending his arrest in connection with Crime KRISHNA KUMAR BARVE Digitally signed by KRISHNA KUMAR BARVE Date: 2026.07.09 14:53:56 +0530
2 No.84/2026, registered at Police Station – Bhupdevpur, District – Raigarh (C.G.) for the offence punishable under Sections 34 (2) and 59 (A) of the Chhattisgarh Excise Act.
3. It transpires from the record that the present anticipatory bail application falls under Section 34(2) of the Chhattisgarh Excise Act, which is not maintainable as per provisions of Section 59A(i) of Chhattisgarh Excise Act.
4. In view of the above, the present anticipatory bail application is dismissed as not maintainable.
