The unofficial respondent has filed W.A.No.1165 of 2025. 2. The Division Bench of this Court Writ Appeal No.1165 of 2025 has modified the order of Writ Petition No.23666 of 2025. And the order of the Division Bench is extracted as follows; “ 9. In the circumstances, this Writ Appeal is disposed of by directing the 6th respondent herein to conduct a local enquiry as to the right and title of the respondents 1 and 2 over the aforesaid land and also on the question of who is in possession of the said land. If it is found that there has been a cancellation of the assignment of land, in the year 2003 itself. The 7th respondent shall carry out an enquiry as to whether the respondents 1 and 2 are in possession of the said land. If they are found to be in possession, necessary steps shall be taken, in accordance with law. If it is found that they are not in possession of the land, the Tahsildar shall take necessary steps to protect the said land, as long as the said land is not allotted or assigned to any other person.” 3. Therefore, the present Contempt Case is closed.
