The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that already bail was granted to the petitioner and due to his non-appearance before the trial Court, Non-bailable warrant was issued on 14.08.2025 by the trial Court and the same is pending. Therefore, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail. 3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the offences against the petitioner are grave in nature and therefore, Non-Bailable warrant was issued on 14.08.2025 and the same is pending. Hence, the petitioner is not entitled for anticipatory bail and he can approach the trial Court for cancellation of non-bailable warrant. Therefore, he strongly opposed for grant of anticipatory bail. 4. Since the petitioner was already granted bail and due to his non- appearance, Non-bailable warrant was issued and the same is pending, it is https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL.O.P.No.13144 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 appropriate to direct the petitioner to approach the trial Court for cancellation of non-bailable warrant. Hence, the petitioner is directed to appear before the trial Court and file an appropriate application for cancellation of non-bailable warrant. On such application being filed by the petitioner, the trial Court is directed to consider the petitioner’s application and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law on the same day. 5.
