Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State respondent. This is an application under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of pre- arrest bail to the accused/petitioner, namely, Monowar Hussain who is Page No.# 2/2 apprehending arrest in connection with the Dhubri P.S. Case No. 375/2024 (corresponding to G.R. No.1240/2024), registered under Sections 61(2) (a)/103(1) of the BNS, 2023. During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam on instruction, submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted the charge-sheet in said Dhubri P.S. Case No. 375/2024, vide Charge-Sheet No. 15/2026, dated 21.01.2026. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to approach the learned Trial Court below for his regular bail in said Dhubri P.S. Case No. 375/2024. The interim bail, granted to the present petitioner may be extended for another fifteen (15) days, enabling him to appear before the learned Trial Court below, with a regular bail application.
