GP FOR REVENUE 3 BKM,J W.P.No.13882 of 2026 The Court made the following Order: Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondent Nos.1 to 5. 2. The issuance of notices to the respondent Nos.6 to 8 is dispensed with as no prejudice would cause to them even if it is disposed of in their absence. 3. This writ petition is filed questioning the action of the 3rd respondent in not numbering and not deciding the Revision Petition and stay application preferred by the petitioners under Section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971, against the proceedings of the 4th respondent in D.Dis.No.D2(B)/2024/2022, dated 25.02.2026 directing, deletion of the petitioners’ names from the Record of Rights in respect of the lands admeasuring Ac.0.54 cents in Sy.No.478 and Ac.1.77 cents in Sy.No.479 of Peravali Village, Singanamala Mandal, Anantapuramu District. 4. On the other hand, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue relying upon the written instructions of the 3rd respondent dated 05.05.2026 submits that the revision petition has been taken on file in Rc.No.1859/2026/Co-Ordn./ROR, dated 05.05.2026 and the same shall be disposed of after duly issuing notices to the concerned parties and affording them an opportunity to submit their arguments. 5. In view of the above said facts and circumstances, recording the said instructions of the 3rd respondent dated 05.05.2026, the 3rd respondent is 4 BKM,J W.P.No.13882 of 2026 directed to consider and dispose of the said revision petition dated 05.05.2026 of the petitioners, strictly in accordance with law, by hearing all the parties concerned, including the petitioners and the unofficial respondents herein, giving due opportunity, upon verification of the records and the subject land, appropriate decision shall be taken on its own merits as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (04) months from the date of receipt of this order. Pending the revision, there shall be an order of status quo as on today to be maintained with respect to the subject land covered under the said revision petition of the petitioners dated 05.05.2026. The said written instructions of the 3rd respondent dated 05.05.2026 shall be made as part of the Court record. 6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Interim order if any deemed to have been vacated. There shall be no order as to costs.
