JUDGMENT AND ORDER (ORAL)
1. This application is for intervention to implead the applicants as party in the proceedings.
2. Mr. V.Jain, learned counsel for the applicants has submitted that the application has been filed pursuant to an order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court dated 26-06-2026, passed in SLP (Civil) Diary No(s). 54794/2025, in the case of Hari Shankar Jain & Ors. vrs. State of Meghalaya & Ors., whereby the Hon’ble Supreme Court has allowed the applicants to participate in the proceedings before this Court.
3. Objections, however, has been filed by the PIL petitioner, who is arrayed as respondent No. 9 with the question of title as to the land.

4. Ms. D.Lyngdoh, learned counsel for the respondents No. 6, 7 & 8 in the main writ petition, has submitted that copy of the misc. application has not been served on them.
5. In consideration thereof, notwithstanding this fact, in view of the
order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, the applicants are hereby arrayed as party respondents in the instant proceedings, and are permitted to file a detailed affidavit stating their contentions. The respondents thereafter, are also permitted to file their replies or objections to the same.
6. Registry to make necessary additions in the cause title.
7. Misc. application stands allowed and disposed of.
