In Crl.P.No.8707/2025, the petitioner is before this Court seeking the following prayers: "a. Quash the FIR and Complaint dated 25-04-2025 registered as Crime No.0132/2025 by Kodigehalli Police Station for the offence punishable under section 319(2), 318(4), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 339, 3(5) of BHARATIYA NYANA SANHITA (BNS), 2023 produced as ANNEXURE A & B pending on the file of 7th ACMM Court at Bengaluru as far as the petitioner is concerned. b. Pass any other order(s) or direction this Hon'ble court deems fit according to the facts and circumstances of the case." 3. In W.P.No.17398/2025, the petitioner is before this Court seeking the following prayers: "(1) Issue a writ or such other order to quash the FIR dated 25/04/2025 bearing No.132/2025 lodged by the 1st Respondent Police for the offences punishable under section 3(5), 319(2), 318(4), 336(3), 338 & 339, 340(2), of BNS, 2023 pending on the file of 7th ACMM, Bengaluru, in so far as petitioner is concerned, produced at ANNEXURE-B.. (2) Pass such other order as this Hon'ble Court deems fit to grant in the interest of justice and equity." 4. Heard the learned Senior Counsel Sri.D.R.Ravishankar appearing for the petitioners and the learned Senior Counsel Sri.Sandesh J Chouta appearing for the - 7 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:32749 CRL.P No. 7200 of 2025 C/W CRL.P No. 8707 of 2025 WP No. 17398 of 2025 respondent-complainant and have perused the material on record. 5. After hearing the parties at length, the Court is of the opinion that investigation in the case at hand is imperative. Any further observation would undoubtedly prejudice the case or cause of either the petitioners or the complainant. In that light, reserving liberty to the petitioners to reproach this Court, in the event final report is filed and the final report goes against them, the petitions stand disposed. 6. It is needless to observe that the petitioners are already on bail and no prejudice would be caused by participating in the investigation. 7. It is again needless to observe that the investigation would be whole hog and not lopsided, as the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners admits. 8. In the event, any of these petitioners have not secured bail or not enlarged on bail, in the light of the interim - 8 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:32749 CRL.P No. 7200 of 2025 C/W CRL.P No. 8707 of 2025 WP No. 17398 of 2025 order subsisting in these cases, I deem it appropriate to direct the respondent-State not to take any coercive steps against the petitioners in whose favour bail is not subsisting, for a period of three weeks.
