Learned counsel for the petitioner and respondent No.2- the complainant, at whose instance, impugned FIR came to be registered, have submitted that since parties have entered into amicable settlement Sr. No. 13 2 and petitioner No.1 and respondent No.2- the complainant have dissolved their marriage, continuation of proceedings in the impugned FIR shall be an exercise in futility. Respondent No.2, present in the Court has submitted that she has no objection to the quashment of the impugned FIR. 03. In view of the above, present petition is allowed and impugned FIR is quashed. 04. Disposed of along with connected application(s). 05. Interim direction, if any, shall stand vacated.
