The present Civil Writ Petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent Nos. 1 to 5 to provide assistance to the Authorised Officer for taking physical possession of the secured assets as per the provisions of Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 (hereinafter referred to as 'the SARFAESI Act'). 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner through video conferencing submitted that the petitioner is Bank and a secured creditor. He submitted that the petitioner filed an application before the Teshildar, Narwana to start the possession proceedings as per the order passed by the District Magistrate, Jind and has referred to Annexure P-4 dated 18.03.2026, whereby the aforesaid application was filed but till date RAKESH KUMAR 2026.07.02 17:59 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment CWP-19181-2026(O&M) -2- no action has been taken by the Teshildar, Narwana. He submitted that his limited prayer is only to the extent that a direction may be issued to the competent authority to take action on the aforesaid application within a time frame work. 3. At this stage, Ms. Shubhra Singh, learned Additional Advocate General, Haryana has submitted that the aforesaid application filed by the petitioner-Bank vide Annexure P-4 will be considered and appropriate action in accordance with law will be taken by the competent authority within a period of one month from today. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in view of the statement made by the learned State counsel, the present petition may be disposed of. 5. Ordered accordingly.
