In this Writ Petition, petitioner is assailing the order dated 11.09.2019 (Annexure-A) passed by respondent No.2, inter alia sought for quashing the order dated 06.02.2026 (Annexure-B) passed by respondent No.3. 2. It is the contention of Sri. Ravishankar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, that the land in question was granted to the grandmother of the petitioner - Lakkamma as per M.R.No.37/77-78. It is argued that the mutation entry has been changed without hearing the petitioner and accordingly, learned counsel sought for interference of this Court. 3. Per contra, Sri. Spoorthy Hegde N., learned High Court Government Pleader appearing for the respondent Nos.1 to 3, submitted that, the petitioner herein or his grandmother are not parties in the proceedings before respondent No.2(Annexure-A), and further the same has been challenged after a period of six years and no reasons have been assigned and accordingly, sought for dismissal of the Writ Petition. - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:30246 WP No. 6312 of 2026 4. In the light of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, on careful consideration of the Writ papers would indicate that the petitioner has not produced the order of grant before this Court except Annexure-D, wherein mutation has been made in M.R. No.37/77-78. It is also pertinent to mention that, grandmother of the petitioner - Lakkamma is not a party in the proceedings in LND(A)/03:2018-19, as per Annexure-A. In that view of the matter, the Writ Petition cannot be accepted. 5. Despite the fact that the petitioner or his grandmother is not a party in Annexure-A, as there is delay of six years in challenging Annexure-A, and by looking into the averments made in the Writ Petition, I am of the view that, no acceptable reasons have been stated to quash the Order dated 11.09.2019 passed by respondent No.2. 6.
