JUSTICE E.S.INDIRESH ORAL ORDER Learned Additional Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents. 2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties. 3. In this writ petition, the petitioner has assailed the order dated 05.02.2026 produced at Annexure-A passed by respondent No.2, the order dated 06.06.2026 produced at Annexure-B passed by respondent No.3, and the endorsement dated 03.08.2021 produced at Annexure-C issued by respondent No.4. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the original grant records pertaining to the land in question have been lost by the respondent- authorities during the process of transfer of the Taluk - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:31000 WP No. 17966 of 2026 office and that the petitioner is also not in possession of the original grant certificate or other relevant documents. It is therefore contended that the respondents were not justified in rejecting the request for change of entries in the revenue records. 5. Per contra, the learned Additional Government Advocate submits that, in the absence of the original grant certificate or other documents establishing the petitioner's right over the property, the impugned orders do not warrant interference. 6. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties and upon careful consideration of the material on record, it is evident that the petitioner has not produced the original grant order or any other document before the competent authority to establish his right over the property in question. It is also forthcoming from the observations made by - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:31000 WP No. 17966 of 2026 respondent No.3 that no grant records are available in the office in respect of the subject land. 7. In that view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that no grounds are made out to interfere with the impugned orders. 8. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. 9.
