1. Learned Additional Government Advocate accepts notice for respondent Nos.1 and 2.

2. Notice to respondent No.3 to respondent No.10 is dispensed with in view of the proposed order to be passed.
3. Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, directing the Respondents 1 to 2 to give police protection to the petitioner in pursuance of the case registered against the respondents 3 to 10 in Cr.No.0460/2026 dated 12.06.2026 as per Annexure - F in respect of the schedule property bearing khatha No.84-9-175/2 situated at Banaswadi, K.R.Puram Hobli, Bengaluru East Taluk measuring East to West 50ft and North to South 88 ft measuring 4400 sq. feet as more fully mentioned in the schedule property. b. Direct the contesting respondents to pay the costs of these proceedings and grant such other relief or relifs as this Hon'ble Court deems fit to grant in the circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice.

Learned counsel for the petitioner alleged that respondent Nos.3 to 10 are interfering with the possession of the petitioner and causing a law and
order issue, the petitioner had filed an FIR in Crime No.460/2026 on 12.06.2026 contending that the respondents have not offered police protection to the petitioner. As such, the petitioner is before this Court seeking for the aforesaid reliefs.

5. Mere filing of a criminal complaint will not entitle the petitioner to police protection when the issue relates to a civil dispute as regards the property.
6. Reserving liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate Civil Court seeking for appropriate remedies, the petition stands disposed.
