This Contempt Petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 28.08.2025, passed in WPSS No. 458 of 2025. By the said order, following directions were issued:-
“5. Having regard to the facts of the case, writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Appellate Authority to consider and decide petitioner’s Appeal, if already not decided, within ten weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.”

Heard Mr. Bhagwat Mehra, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Jagdish Singh Bisht, learned Standing Counsel for the State.

After the said submissions of Mr. Jagdish Singh Bisht, Standing Counsel for the State, Mr. Bhagwat Mehra, Advocate, submitted that the petitioner does not want to proceed further in the present Contempt Petition.

For the foregoing reasons, this Contempt Petition does not require any further consideration. Therefore, the proceedings in the present Contempt Petition are closed.
